Shani is one of the navgrahas. The origin of Shani comes from Shanaya Krama i.e one who moves slowly as Saturn takes about 30 years to rotate around Sun. Shani is known to be the greatest trouble giver and the Sade sati is also often considered as a bad period but the truth is Shani is harmful to the persons who follow the path of betrayal, back stabbing and unjust revenge. Shani is the planet of patience, the planet of justice and a greatest teacher. People who go through Sade Sati emerge as much stronger, self aware and better human beings after the period is over.
